Echoes Of Gia — Privacy Policy

App: Echoes Of Gia (mobile game)
Developer/Publisher: Applicationriseimperator Evolving New Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

This privacy policy explains how Echoes Of Gia (“the Game”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application on Android and iOS.

If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use the Game. If you have questions, contact us at info@apprient.com.

1) Who we are (Data Controller)

For users in the EEA/UK, the data controller is [Applicationriseimperator Evolving New Technologies Pvt. Ltd.].
Email: info@apprient.com

If you do not have an establishment in the EEA/UK, you may need to appoint an EEA and/or UK representative under GDPR/UK GDPR where applicable. Add their contact details here if appointed.

2) What data we collect

We designed the Game to collect the minimum personal data needed to operate, secure, and improve the experience. Depending on how you use the Game, we may process the following categories of data:

A. Identifiers & device information

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID/AAID, Apple IDFA if you consent on iOS, Vendor ID/IDFV)
  • IP address, approximate location derived from IP (country/region)
  • Device model, OS version, language, app version, timestamps

B. Gameplay & usage data

  • Game progress, scores, purchases owned, session duration, features used, crash logs

C. Purchase information

  • Non-sensitive purchase metadata from Google Play Billing / Apple In‑App Purchases (product ID, transaction time, status). We do not receive full payment card data. Payments are processed by Google/Apple.

D. Diagnostic data

  • Crash reports, performance metrics, error logs

E. Ads & analytics data (if you consent where required)

  • Ad impressions, clicks, frequency caps, and coarse location derived from IP for ad serving/measurement

We do not intentionally collect: precise geo‑location, contact list, SMS, photos, microphone, or camera data unless you explicitly grant access for a specific feature (not generally required for core gameplay).

3) Sources of data

  • Data you provide directly in the Game (e.g., settings)
  • Data generated by your device while using the Game
  • Data from app stores (Google/Apple) to validate purchases
  • Data from integrated third‑party SDKs (see Section 7)

No first‑party servers: We currently do not run our own backend that stores your personal data. Data is processed on your device and by third‑party providers listed here (for analytics, crashes, and advertising), and purchase metadata is handled by Google/Apple. If this changes, we will update this policy.

4) Why we process your data (Purposes)

  • Provide and operate the Game (core functionality, progress saving)
  • Security and fraud prevention (abuse detection, purchase validation)
  • Analytics and product improvement (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics to understand bugs, balance gameplay)
  • In‑app purchases (deliver items, restore purchases)
  • Advertising / monetization (AdMob and mediated networks to serve and measure ads if enabled)
  • Legal compliance (tax/audit logs, regulatory requests)

5) Our legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Depending on the context, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract (to provide the Game and in‑app purchases)
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., app security, basic analytics, crash reporting) balanced against your rights
  • Consent (e.g., personalized advertising, ad measurement, iOS tracking via AppTrackingTransparency; certain analytics where required)
  • Legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting records)

You may withdraw consent at any time in the Game settings or via your device settings (see Section 11).

6) Children’s privacy

The Game is intended for users 13+ (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required by law.

7) Third‑party SDKs and disclosures

To operate and improve the Game, we integrate—or may integrate—the following third parties. Each processes data as an independent controller (or processor, depending on their terms). See their policies for details and opt‑out options.

We currently plan to use: Google AdMob, AppLovin MAX (mediation), Unity Ads, Chartboost, and Firebase (Analytics/Crashlytics). Enable or disable partners in your live build to match this list.

We may also share data with:

  • Service providers who host our services, provide analytics, or support operations under confidentiality and data protection terms.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal data in the traditional sense. Where “sale” or “sharing” is defined by law (e.g., under some state laws) to include advertising practices, you may opt out of such processing (see Section 11).

8) International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (e.g., the United States, EU, India). Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EEA/UK transfers.

9) Data retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not maintain user accounts or a first‑party database. Typical retention periods (by provider):

  • Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: up to 14–26 months (configurable)
  • Ad networks/mediation (AdMob/AppLovin/Unity/Chartboost): per their policies (often 12–24 months)
  • Purchase records (non‑card) via Google/Apple: up to 7 years for accounting/legal obligations

When no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize data, or rely on partner‑level retention controls where provided.

10) Security

We implement reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no system is 100% secure.

11) Your choices & controls

  • Consent for ads/analytics (EEA/UK): On first launch, we show a consent prompt via a CMP (e.g., Google UMP with IAB TCF v2). You can update choices anytime in Settings → Privacy within the Game (if provided) or via device settings.
  • iOS tracking (ATT): iOS may prompt you to “Allow Tracking”. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The Game works without tracking; ads may be less relevant.
  • Opt out of personalized ads:
    • Android: Settings → Google → Ads (or device‑specific path)
    • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
  • Firebase Analytics data controls: Use in‑app toggles (if provided) or your OS settings to limit analytics collection.
  • Push notifications: control in your device settings.
  • Delete local data / reset progress: where supported, use the in‑game reset or reinstall the app (note: purchases can be restored via the platform).

12) Your rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where applicable, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing)

To exercise your rights, contact info@apprient.com. We may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., ICO in the UK, CNIL in France, etc.).

13) Cookies and similar technologies

The Game itself does not use traditional website cookies, but integrated SDKs may use local storage or similar mobile identifiers for analytics and advertising. Manage preferences via the consent prompt or device settings.

14) Platform‑specific notices

A) Google Play (Android)

  • Data Safety disclosure: We disclose in Play Console the following data types based on our integrations: Approximate location (via IP), App activity (in‑app interactions), Device or other IDs (AAID), Diagnostics (crash logs), and Purchases. If personalized ads are enabled, mark Advertising or marketing and Data sharing where required by Google’s definitions.
  • Families Policy: The Game is 13+ and not directed to children.

B) Apple App Store (iOS)

  • Privacy Nutrition Labels: We disclose the following categories: Identifiers (IDFV and IDFA if consented), Usage Data, Diagnostics, Purchases, and Coarse Location (derived), with purposes like Third‑Party Advertising, Developer’s Advertising or Marketing, Analytics, App Functionality. Data may be linked to the user or not linked depending on implementation.
  • App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We request tracking consent if we use IDFA or similar cross‑app tracking.

15) Do Not Track (DNT)

The Game does not respond to DNT signals because mobile platforms and ad ecosystems do not operate a common DNT standard. Use the controls in Section 11.

16) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will have a new “Last updated” date and take effect when posted. Material changes will be highlighted in‑app or on our site where feasible.
